The Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead the concession in a luxury department store in London. As a true Brand Ambassador, the Store Manager will be responsible
for driving sales, delivering an exceptional client experience, and leading a high-performing team. This role requires a strong leader who can combine operational excellence with a passion for
luxury craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Client Experience
- Drive sales performance by implementing strategic initiatives and inspiring the team to achieve targets.
- Master sales techniques and lead by example on the shop floor.
- Deliver a personalized luxury experience, offering creative styling advice to clients.
- Ensure seamless CRM management, overseeing client books, outreach strategies, and follow-ups.
- Develop and expand the concession’s client database, cultivating loyalty and repeat business.
- Handle client concerns with professionalism, ensuring brand excellence in every interaction.
2. Business & Operations Management
- Analyze weekly and monthly performance reports, identifying key business opportunities.
- Optimize key KPIs such as turnover, average basket, UPT, and cross-selling.
- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, and loss prevention procedures.
- Ensure accurate cash management, back-office administration, and compliance with the department store's standards.
- Collaborate with the maison's headquarters on buying sessions to curate the best product selection.
- Maintain awareness of market trends and competitor activity to position the brand effectively.
3. Team Leadership & Development
- Motivate, coach, and mentor a team to foster a culture of excellence and engagement.
- Provide regular coaching sessions, constructive feedback, and one-on-one performance reviews.
- Oversee staff scheduling, holiday planning, and day-to-day management to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead by example, demonstrating strong work ethics, passion, and commitment to the brand’s vision.
4. HR & Performance Management
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training to build a strong and talented team.
- Work closely with HR on performance assessments, training plans, and disciplinary procedures.
- Develop personalized career growth plans for team members, ensuring consistent development.
5. Brand Representation & Networking
- Embody the brand’s values and maintain high standards of brand excellence.
- Organize VIP events, exclusive client experiences to enhance brand visibility.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the luxury and fashion industry to expand brand reach.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a passionate, business-driven, and people-oriented leader who is eager to contribute to the growth of our brand in a prestigious retail location.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar managerial role (Boutique Manager, Concession Manager, or Flagship Store Manager).
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate a team towards excellence.
- Deep understanding of luxury fashion and retail trends, with a passion for craftsmanship.
- Proven ability to balance operational responsibilities with proactive client engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong emotional intelligence.
- A results-driven mindset, capable of optimizing sales performance and enhancing client experience.
- Additional languages would be an advantage.
