Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with our design team to transform creative designs into technical leather goods that reflect Lacoste's brand values and aesthetic, with a focus on the construction of bags.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, materials, and techniques that will enhance our product offerings, translating these insights into practical applications for bag development.
• Manage the prototyping process from initial sketches through final samples, ensuring quality and functionality in the construction of each piece.
• Work directly with suppliers to select high-quality leathers and negotiate favorable terms while maintaining our ethical sourcing standards, specifically geared toward bag manufacturing.
• Oversee the testing of leather goods for durability, usability, and compliance with industry regulations, with particular attention to bag constructions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of material specifications, production processes, and cost analyses for all leather products developed, focusing on their structural integrity.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the production lifecycle, addressing any issues that arise during manufacturing, especially those related to bag assembly.
